This Privacy Policy explains how SnapQuote ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and business name when you register.

Payment Information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Job Site Photos: Images you send via WhatsApp or SMS for quote generation. These are processed and then deleted within 30 days.

Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, including quote history and feature usage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: deliver the SnapQuote service; process payments; send you quotes and service-related communications; improve our AI models (using anonymized data only); respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Stripe (payment processing); OpenAI (AI quote generation, under data privacy agreements); Twilio (WhatsApp and SMS message delivery); and service providers who assist in operating SnapQuote under confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion. Job site photos are deleted within 30 days of quote generation. Payment records are retained as required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we collect and to opt out of any sale (we do not sell data). To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@getsnapquotes.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

7. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies for functionality and analytics cookies (anonymized) to improve our service. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Children's Privacy

SnapQuote is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
